| LTSP.org The Linux Terminal Server Project adds thin-client support to Linux servers.
LTSP is a flexible, cost effective solution that is
empowering schools, businesses, and organizations all over the
world to easily install and deploy desktop workstations. A growing number of
Linux distributions include LTSP out-of-the-box.

|
| PXES Linux PXES is a micro Linux
distribution allowing you to build thin clients or diskless
workstations. Hardware not suitable for other uses like current desktop
OS can be recycled and converted into a thin client.

| rdesktop
rdesktop is an open source client for Windows NT Terminal
Server and Windows 2000/2003 Terminal Services, capable of natively
speaking Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) in order to present the
user's NT desktop. Unlike Citrix ICA, no server extensions are
required.
rdesktop currently runs on most UNIX based platforms with
the X Window System, and other ports should be fairly
straightforward.

| Thinstation Thinstation is a thin client Linux distribution that makes a PC a full-featured thin client supporting all major connectivity protocols: Citrix ICA, NoMachine NX, 2X ThinClient, MS Windows terminal services (RDP), Cendio ThinLinc, Tarantella, X, telnet, tn5250, VMS term and SSH.

|
| xrdp Based on the work of rdesktop,
xrdp uses the remote desktop protocol to present a GUI to the
user.
The goal of this project is to provide a fully functional
Linux terminal server, capable of accepting connections from
rdesktop and Microsoft's own terminal server / remote desktop
clients.
